Hotels in Dubai
With Dubai hotels planning to host 40 million tourists in one year (2015), there are too many hotels in Dubai to acknowledge them all.
A few noteworthy hotels are:
- Burj Al Arab which is shaped like a sail; its website proclaims that it is "Acknowledged as the best hotel in the world." It is the world's tallest building used exclusively as a hotel.
- Bawadi - It's website proclaims it the largest hospitality and leisure development in the world. It is expected to have about 29,000 hotel rooms when completed. The Asia, Asia Hotel with 6,500 rooms will be the largest hotel in the world. The walkable development will also have 40 million sq. ft of retail space.
- Burj Dubai is part of the
Dubai Downtown development and is expected to be the tallest tower in
the world. Among other things, it will contain 144 luxury residential
apartments designed and furnished by Armani.
- Hydropolis is an
underwater resort hotel "Taking Mankind on a Journey Under the Seas."
- Trump International Hotel & Tower - Although in development, the Trump Website proclaims it as "sure to be the most prestigious luxury hotel in the Middle East."
